Our townhouse has been without gutters since mid-May due to a grossly mismanaged roofing project. They finally gave us gutters a couple weeks ago, but didn’t reattach the downspouts. They are FINALLY working on the downspouts, and started with the gutters by our bedroom (where baby sleeps) the moment he settled down for a nap. I calmed him down and moved him to his (future) bedroom on the opposite side of the house, and as soon as he fell asleep they stopped working. So now he’s sleeping away from the baby monitor for basically no reason, and I can’t do my noisy chores downstairs because I won’t hear him wake up. So I’m stuck puttering around up here, killing time until he wakes up. What a day.
